Dance style descriptions
Disco Freestyle
Freestyle is a popular form of dance, involving runs, spins, kicks and leaps, as well as many other diverse steps and movements. The music can be fast and rhythmic or slow, allowing dancers of all ages to use freedom of expression to enhance their style.
Street Dance
To Street dance refers to dance styles – regardless of country of origin – that evolved outside of dance studios.
The hip-hop dance style B-boying, and the funk-style Popping and Locking, are some of the most popular Street dance styles.
Contemporary
Contemporary is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet.
Lyrical
Lyrical dance is a style that combines ballet and jazz dancing techniques. It is performed to music with lyrics so that it inspires expression of strong emotions.
Rock’n’Roll
One of the many Jive dance styles, Rock ‘n’ Roll is fun, energetic and can be performed socially or as a competitive dance. This dance has something for everyone, and is performed to great music.
Tots That Tumble
An introduction into the world of Acrobatic Arts, this fun class will give your child the chance to learn how to stretch, tumble, jump, balance and so much more, in a safe and controlled environment
Disco Dazzlers
Your little one will learn various styles such as Disco Dance to popular chart songs along with Street Dance to funky upbeat tunes. Including within these sessions will be a dance based warm up, stretches, corner work and games
Acro Arts
Acrobatic Arts, this fun class will give your child the chance to learn how to stretch, tumble, jump, balance and so much more, in a safe and controlled environment
Jazzy Kids
Learn the basic steps of the popular dance style Jazz; showcasing turns, leaps and kicks all combined into fun, creative routines.
Wedding Dancing and specialist choreography
In addition to our weekly classes we offer: Private Lessons and Wedding Dance Choreography, Medal Exams with the ISTD, Adult Social Dance Courses, Show Choreography, Dance Troupes.

Insanity®
Insanity is a total body workout that requires no gym or equipment. … The program is based on a fitness method called “max interval training.” In traditional interval training, you exercise at a very intense pace for a short period of time, and then rest for longer periods in between.
PiYO®
PiYo combines the strengthening benefits of Pilates with the flexibility enhancing effects of yoga. Set to music, this dynamic, energetic programme provides a full body workout without straining your body.
Zumba®
Zumba is a fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval training — alternating fast and slow rhythms — to help improve cardiovascular fitness.
